Участь у Всеукраїнській конференції учнів Асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО

28-29 листопада 2014 р. команда учнів гімназії взяла активну участь у ХVI Всеукраїнській конференції учнів асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО «Модель ідеального суспільства за Шевченком: освітні ініціативи ЮНЕСКО задля гармонії відносин у полі культурному світі відповідно до принципів «Нового гуманізму» на базі столичного технічного ліцею у світі 200-річчя від дня народження Т. Г. Шевченка.

Організатори конференції: МОН України, Департамент освіті науки, молоді та спорту виконавчого органу Київської міської ради (КМДА), управління освіти Дніпровської районної в м. Києві держадміністрації, Гуманітарна гімназія «Гармонія» м. Києва. Конференція проходила під егідою Національної комісії у справах ЮНЕСКО.

Гімназисти представили свої доповіді під час пошуково-дослідницьких сесій: конструкторському бюро моделей «Освіта як пріоритет розвитку суспільства: співзвуччя поглядів Т. Г. Шевченка та ЮНЕСКО» (Хамітжанов Тимур – учень 11-А класу), експертно-правовій раді «Боротьба Т. Г. Шевченка за за дотримання природних прав людини та діяльність ЮНЕСКО у цій царині» (Гончарук Дар`я – учениця 11-А класу).

Працювали також анімаційний центр «Міжнаціональний діалог – шлях до стійкого миру у суспільстві /заклики Кобзаря та досягнення ЮНЕСКО»), проектна студія «Роль жінки в суспільстві за Т. Г. Шевченком та гендерні ініціативи ЮНЕСКО».

Для педагогів-керівників команд проходила науково-практична сесія на тему: «Роль та місія ЮНЕСКО в освітньому процесі».

Творчі студії представляли «Шевченківський триптих», «Український проект – молодіжну естафету».

Учасники конференції розробили шкільні моделі ідеального суспільства за секторами та сформували пропозиції до Декларації конференції. Пропозиції Київської гімназії східних мов №1 були оголошені під час конструкторського бюро моделей «Освіта як пріоритет розвитку суспільства: співзвуччя поглядів Т. Г. Шевченка та ЮНЕСКО» повністю ввійшли до тексту Декларації конференції:

  1. Відновити випуск україномовної версії журналу «Кур`єр ЮНЕСКО» з метою популяризації діяльності, ідей ЮНЕСКО в Україні (можлива електронна версія).
  2. Включити до навчальних програм з курсів всесвітньої історії (1939-2014 рр.) для 11 класу питання ЮНЕСКО та її діяльність» в різні історичні періоди (тема «Розвиток культури 1945 – поч. ХХІ ст…»; тема «Світ після Другої Світової війни»; тема «Світ на початку Хвіст..»).
  3. Включити до змісту програми з історії України для 11 класу питання участі України в ЮНЕСКО, її ініціатив до теми «Україна в перші повоєнні роки (1945 –початок 50-х рр..)» під час вивчення питань освіти, науки, літератури та мистецтва в цей період, до теми «Україна в умовах незалежності» під час вивчення питань культури, участі України в міжнародних організаціях, акцентуючи більшу увагу на ЮНЕСКО.
  4. Включити питання про зміст Концепції «Нового гуманізму» ЮНЕСКО до вивчення в окремих темах курсів «Людина і світ», «Лбдина і суспільство», «Філософія» в загальноосвітніх навчальних закладах України.
  5. Розробити в рамках Національної комісії у справах ЮНЕСКО, МОН України для ЗНЗ України хрестоматію документів, проектів ЮНЕСКО та діяльності України в ЮНЕСКО у різні періоди для подальшого використання в начально-виховному процесі (на уроках, в позаурочній діяльності) як на паперових, так й електронних носіях.

Конференція стала новим ступенем у популяризації ідей концепції «Нового гуманізму» ЮНЕСКО в системі загальної середньої освіти в Україні, демонстрацією нових форм роботи асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО.

Сертифікати учасників конференції вручені Гончарук Дар`ї, Хамітжанову Тимуру – учням 11-А клау, Савченку М. П. – заступнику директора з навчально-методичної роботи КГСМ №1. Хочеться зазначити, що Гончарук Дар`я, окремо, та команда Київської гімназії східних мов №1 нагороджені Дипломами за творчий підхід, розробку оригінальних ідей, інноваційних поглядів та креативність у вирішенні проблем сучасної України.

Київська гімназія східних мов №1 увійшла у десятку найкращих загальноосвітніх навчальних закладів – асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО.

The Participation in the country - studying educational Festival «Cultural Dialogue:African states» which isdevoted to International African Day, for the mutual understanding and the friendship among the people worldwide. Our students successfully had presented Libya in the country – studying educational festival «Cultural dialogue: African states» which is devoted to International African Day. This Festival was at theQUOTE Мarch 2011 in Kyiv University of Economy and Law – «KROK» with the participation ofUniversity KROK schools partners, Kyiv region Associated School Project.net project Unesco schools, the representatives of the Foreign Embassies in Ukraine, African council members, University KROK students and the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sport. The Festival was devoted to the International African Day which is arranged by UNESCO decision.

Our students had presented Master Class about Libya Djamahivia. We, the teachers and the students, were awarded by a Grateful Diploma for the active and informative presention and preparation of the demonstration of Libya in the creative way of the Friendship between Ukraine and Libya.We are proud of all UNESCO cultural projects.


MAIN ACTIVITY

Kiev Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1 is an integral part of educational and training chain “Kindergarten - primary school - Kiev Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1 - Kiev College of Oriental Linguistic - Kiev Institute of Oriental Linguistic and Law”. The school works around the clock - 24 hours a day (boarding school).

Students of 1st - 11th grades learn profoundly one of following oriental languages: Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Turkish, or Vietnamese. Beside that, all students from the 1st year have computer and English classes.

Gymnasium №1 has agreements on co-operation with:

vLaboratory of foreign languages at theInstitute ofPedagogic of theAcademy ofPedagogy ofUkraine;

vInstitute of Orientalistic at theNationalAcademy of Science ofUkraine;

vKiev Institute of Oriental Linguistic and Law;

vKievStateUniversityof Linguistic.

Ultimate purpose of Gymnasium is:

To breed talented children for supporting intellectual and cultural potential ofUkraine.

Main activities are:

vto provide a child with basic linguistic education ensuring intellectual development of a personality, following one’s inclinations, interests, talents, self-determination and self-realisation, having prepared a child for the further education in the higher school;

vto elaborate new content of education, up-to-date person-oriented pedagogic technologies and apply them to the process of education;

vto improve educational programmes and content of linguistic education;

vto breed social, national, and personal qualities of Ukrainian patriots applying pedagogical methods based on tolerance, peace, and dialogue of different cultures.

Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1 was createdon the basis ofKiev secondary school with profound learning of Chinese (established in 1956).

The Gymnasium has its own curriculum and programmes for oriental languages, geography of eastern countries, Orientalistic, law, dancing, fine arts, and music.

Students for the 1stand 10thgrades are selected on competitive basis.

Since 1975 the School is headed by Pavlo Antoniuk, the Honoured Teacher of Ukraine, PhD of pedagogic, companion of Medals of Makarenko, Krupskaya and other governmental awards, veteran of the Great Patriotic War of theUSSR (WW-II).

Historical facts:

1936in Svyatoshyn (Kiev suburbs) was established a school for children escaping from horrors of Civil War inSpain;

1944secondary schools №№ 40 and 96 were accommodated in the premises of the school;

1956boarding school with some disciplines taught in Chinese was established following the decision of the Council of Ministers of Ukrainian SSR;

1976introduced parallel bilingual teaching in the school – in Ukrainian and Russian (cancelled in 1991);

1977established Schools of Sports, Fine Arts and agricultural laboratory for training and research;

1981Kiev boarding school №1 chosen as a base school of the Ministry of Education of theUSSR for issues related to teaching of Chinese;

1982accepted children of 6 years old;

1986establishing co-operative relations with Chinese students studying inKiev;

1987delegation of State Committee for Public Education of China visited the school;

1988established direct co-operation withHarbin secondary school №6 (China);

1989-90mutual visits of delegations ofHarbin andKiev schools. Language drilling for teachers and students;

1991Main Department of Public Education inKiev decided to re-establish the school as Kiev Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1. Introduced Japanese;

1992introduced Persian, Arabic, Hindi, and Turkish;

1994established recreation centre “Zhayvoronok”;

1996introduced Korean. Students and teachers fromIndia visited the Gymnasium. Language drilling for Ukrainian students and teachers inIndia;

1997established magazine “ORIENTALIA”;

Educational work

Number of students attending the Gymnasium estimated 1,000 persons (as per 1999-2000 beginning).

From the first year of studying each student learns Ukrainian, English, one of oriental languages, viz.: Chinese, Japanese, Persian, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Korean, or Vietnamese, and Russian (optionally since the 5thyear).

Close attention is paid to the teaching of Ukrainian, national traditions, history and culture ofUkraine, and developing of personality - bearing in mind dialogue of different cultures and multilingual environment, Ukrainian and oriental studies

Content of education and each discipline meets demands of the law ofUkraine “On public education”, tasks and profile of the school. Alongside with traditional pedagogic technologies new informational technologies are widely implemented, e.g. each student can study after a personal curricula, etc.

Excellent skills in primary disciplines could be obtained via specialised courses, optional disciplines, involvement in the activity of various clubs, studios, scientific association of students, workshops at the Smaller Academy of Science “Doslidnyk” (the Explorer), and Young Diplomats’ Club. For the students are also available Sports and Technical schools, “Bdjilka” (the Honeybee) - the art school, agricultural laboratory for training and research and “Zhayvoronok” (the Skylark) - the recreational centre.

The School curriculum comprises following components:

Orientalistic (peoples and countries of East): 2-11 year
Ukrainian studies: 2-11 year
Arts: 1-9 year
Dancing: 1-11 year
Music: 1-9 year
Geography of countries of East 11 year
Law in the countries of East: 10-11 year
Theory of economy (essential accounting): 10-11 year

Each discipline is taught 1 academic hour a week.

Specialised optional courses are as follows:

ØFine arts inChina andJapan;

ØPersonality in the history ofUkraine in XX century;

ØOriental cuisine;

ØOriental martial arts;

ØWorld of East Music.

Pool of teachers

Number of teachers, who work in the school estimates 146 persons, among them 35 teachers of oriental languages, 10 teachers of Ukrainian, childminders, heads of clubs and workshops. Furthermore, seven teachers are members of committees at the Ministry of Education ofUkraine.

Every year teachers and students have opportunity to improve their language skills in appropriate country, or for teachers are available up-grade courses at the KMIUV.

Main problems to work over:

vmotivating interest of student to oriental language by developing his personality;

vdeveloping teacher’s personality with regard to position of education in XXI century

There are 11 chairs in the school:

2 groups of teachers: for Ukrainian studies and for foreign literature.

All-Ukrainian Centre of Chinese was established on the basis of the Gymnasium.

Kiev Gymnasium keeps in touch with other public schools inUkraine, where oriental languages are taught.

Since 1997 the Gymnasium publishes the magazine “ORIENTALIA”. The magazine informs readers about recent events in the school’s life and supports creative attempts of teachers and students. So far 9 issues have been published already.

The Gymnasium has liaisons with embassies of eastern countries inUkraine.

There are three museums in the school:

2005 The gymnasium is a leading school in the International project of the European Union “The Civil Education -Ukraine” (2005-2008).
2006 The VI Olympiad of Oriental languages. Gymnasium is a winner of the projects competition of Ukrainian pupils social action ‘The citizen – 2006”. VII – All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Ukraine and countries of the East: from the civilizations` dialogue to the dialogue of languages and pedagogical system” (2006.11.15) 70-th anniversary of the educational institution. Participation in the 3-rd presentation “Education of Ukraine. Innovative educational technologies” (2006.10.26-2006.10.28).
2007 The VII Olympiad of Oriental languages. The gymnasium is a winner of Ukrainian pupils` social action “The Citizen – 2007”. All-Ukrainian Youth Scientific Conference”Ukraine and countries of the East” : the dialogue of languages, cultures civilizations” (2007. 03.14). The Gymnasium is a winner of the International competition of pupils` and students` projects “Service for he sake of Peace” (2007.10). Participation in the X International exhibition of educational institutions ”Modern education inUkraine – 2007” (2007.02.15-2007.02.17). Pupils and teachers are winners, laureates of the VI International competition” lessons of Holokost – lessons of tolerance” (the research of history of Famine). Opening of the district tolerance camp on the basic of the Gymnasium (June, 2007). Pupils and teachers winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific researches “The Famine in 1932-1933.Ukraine remembers” (II, III,IV stages). Participation in IX All-Ukrainian Conference of Pupils of Associated Schools UNESCO (Odessa). Ludmila Shvydka, theteacher of Ukrainian language and literature ,is a winner of the I (district), laureate of the II (city) stages of All-Ukrainian competition “The Teacher of the Year – 2007). 2008 Participation in the XI International exhibition of educational institutions ”Modern education inUkraine – 2008” (Gymnasium is rewarded with a bronze medal and Award). All-Ukrainian Oriental reading “Ukraine and countries of the East in XXI century” are held (2008.03.13). VII Olympiad of Oriental languages (2008.03.13-16). Mykola Osadchiy, the teacher of the I (district) stage of the Physical Education, is a winner of the I (district) stage of All-Ukrainian competition “The Teacher of the Year – 2008”. Participation in the X All-Ukrainian Conference of pupils of the Associated school UNESCO (The model of the United nations Organization andUkraine 2008”,Zhitomir.). VII Olympiad of the Oriental languages. The Gymnasium is a winner of the Social action of Ukrainian pupils “the Citizen – 2008” (the project “Anton Makarenko`s great cause is alive”). The gymnasium is rewarded with a bronze medal on the International Olympiad of the Experts of English (Istanbul,Turkey). ГІМН УКРАЇНИ НАЙКРАЩИЙ У СВІТІ

Державний гімн України був визначений найкращим у світі. Таке рішення прийнято центром Всесвітньої спадщини ЮНЕСКО. Під час оцінки гімну враховувалися 4 показники: мелодійність, гармонійне поєднання музики та тексту, оригінальність музичного вирішення та цілісність твору.
